From my first introduction in prep school to my experience as goalkeeper for the nationally ranked University of Connecticut Huskies, I constantly sought to improve my skills. I later played as an A League professional and coached on the collegiate level at Yale. In 1992, I founded Soccer Extreme with the hopes of giving back to the youth game. My objective was to develop the finest curriculum possible and have it taught by an enthusiastic coaching staff. As we grew, Soccer Extreme became the first in the nation to introduce “customized training” and we enhanced the experience even further by hiring exceptional coaches from around the globe. Over the past decade, we have truly earned a reputation as innovators in youth soccer education. Today, we also offer our training to soccer clubs and players across New England. Changing with the game remains an integral part of our curriculum. We are always evolving in an effort to stay up to date with the most modern methods. In this vein, we’ve introduced a residential camp called “The Brazilian Way” teaching the method that has helped the Brazilian National Team win 5 World Titles. We’ve also aligned our curriculum with the recommendations of the USSF, NSCAA, and CBF (Brazilian Soccer Association). To further the international experience, we fielded the first ever youth team from the United States to play against the Cuban National Team and continue to offer many wonderful opportunities in the area of international travel and match play. As a youth player, you are at the beginning of a very exciting journey. My staff and I are dedicated to helping you achieve your goals and reach your true potential. I truly love the game of soccer, and if you are taking the time to read this, I am confident that you share my passion. The sport brings families together to experience the joy and excitement with their children. It has been part of my life for nearly 20 years, and my family has been there every step of the way.
