Extreme Performance
EXTREME PERFORMANCE ACADEMY Midfield Academy With Adam Allerton The most crucial component of a child’s development is personal attention and care. Things are not different when dealing with a young soccer player. The individual attention and mentoring given to a young player by soccer professionals is extremely valuable to the development and growth of a young player. Over this ten week small group training your child will get the individual attention they need to thrive at the next level of play. Each session will focus intensely on the development of their technical ability in relation to a higher level of speed of play. We will also focus on the development of soccer speed, which requires an understanding of multidirectional movements and deceleration techniques. We will spend time strengthening the player’s core allowing for better balance, injury prevention, and strength on the ball. As a result the player’s psychological aspect of the game will improve drastically as their technical proficiency improves!
Striker Academy All top coaches want and need a great striker! This academy program focuses on the technique and tactics a forward/striker needs to put the ball into the back of the net. The program has a 1 to eight ratio of coach to player. It includes in-depth evaluations, and psychological training to improve confidence. Goalkeeping Academy With Chuck Salvi The Goalkeeping Academy emphasizes a balanced program of proper technique and fitness, a formula necessary for becoming a successful goalkeeper. The Goalkeeping Academy is designed to meet the needs of both boys and girl and is age and skill-level appropriate. In soccer, the difference between winning and losing is often the goalkeeper’s ability to make critical saves at critical moments in the game. The role of the goalkeeper has evolved in recent years from being just a shot stopper to an integral part of the team. Players who participate in the Goalkeeping Academy will concentrate on the fundamentals of goalkeeping, breaking down the four main components required of this highly demanding position 1. Technical skills 2. Tactical skills 3. Psychological preparation 4. Physical development and fitness
